Testimonials

Don't just take my word for it.

Here's what some of the ladies have had to say about their photographic body image journey:

How did you feel about your body prior to the shoot? Absolutely insecure. Having two illness's like I do, I struggle with my body image big time, because of medication and lack of mobility I can't do much to get the weight off. So I just have to accept my body for what it is now. I was so active before my hospital stay, so that devastates me. So losing my excessive weight will be difficult.
What did you enjoy most about the shoot? Feeling liberated just watching my girlfriends be free.
Did the shoot change the way you feel about your body in any way? Absolutely. Made me feel free and beautiful in my own skin.
If you were to recommend this experience to a friend, what would you say? It's an experience of a lifetime. The freedom you will feel I can't put into words just trust me when I say do it. And also support a brilliant cause.
Any final words? Saffron is a beautiful soul, who will make you feel so comfortable when you bare your everything. In a very tasteful way. JUST GET ON BOARD WOOHOO 🙌

How did you feel about your body prior to the shoot? I was fairly comfortable with my figure, with clothes on. However, I was very self-critical when looking at myself, naked, in the mirror and didn't like certain parts of my body. I always complained to my husband about the cellulite on the tops of my legs and wasn’t comfortable wearing skimpy shorts, etc.
What did you enjoy most about the shoot? Arriving at the shoot, I was pretty nervous. Even when giving birth, I wasn't totally naked and although a friend came along with me, neither of us had seen each other naked before. My friend is a real inspiration to me. She's such a positive soul and looks for the good in anything and everything. I knew I could trust her and that the experience would be encouraging.
Once I got over the initial nerves, I found the shoot so much fun. We laughed a lot and felt so at ease. Seeing the incredible pictures popping in that evening, gave us such an incredible buzz.
Did the shoot change the way you feel about your body in any way? The shoot absolutely changed the way I see and feel about my body. I don't look for the bits I don't like anymore, I look at all the parts I do like. I feel happier and hold my head a bit higher. I feel like I am good enough.
If you were to recommend this experience to a friend, what would you say? I have already recommended this experience to a friend. She was telling me about her recent fitness push and her weight loss goals. She's younger than me, has beautiful curves and beautiful hair and I just wanted her to get the same lift that I have. I showed her a couple of the photos and encouraged her to give it a go. I explained the positive effect it has had on me and my mental health.
Any final words? Well done Saffron. You have created a movement truly unique and special and I can't thank you enough for my experience.

How did you feel about your body prior to the shoot? I've always felt very self-conscious about my body and how it looked. I've never been 100% comfortable with my body since turning 30.
What did you enjoy most about the shoot? I enjoyed the privacy of the shoot location and knowing that I was in good hands and that the photos would boost my confidence and knowing I wasn't alone in feeling a little negative and shy in my own skin.
Did the shoot change the way you feel about your body in any way? Yes definitely did so.
If you were to recommend this experience to a friend, what would you say? I would say that you feel very invigorated and more confident after doing a shoot like this, but also that you only have to do what makes you feel comfort.

How did you feel about your body prior to the shoot? When it comes to my bum I have nothing nice to say, too this, too that, etc.
What did you enjoy most about the shoot? Freedom to play, the carelessness of what was about to transpire; "baring bum" was an adventure.
Did the shoot change the way you feel about your body in any way? Absolutely! I love my bum now, I just have to work baring it more so it'll get some tan like the rest of my skin colour 😂
If you were to recommend this experience to a friend, what would you say? Do it! It is uplifting, somewhat invigorating. And the feeling of release that you're actually very fortunate to be able to do such risk and feel good about it.
Any final words? We are all wonderful in our own way. But you can not expect anyone to believe in you if you don't believe in yourself.

How did you feel about your body prior to the shoot? Some days I love my body and I love how powerful it is. But some days I feel shame and it makes me want to cry.
What did you enjoy most about the shoot? The freedom. I was so very nervous and probably more judgmental of myself that I should have been. But for me I was made to feel so comfortable.
Did the shoot change the way you feel about your body in any way? Yes it has. I feel like I've grown a little bit and if i feel that shame, I remind myself of why and who I am. I straighten my crown and I learn not to give a fuck.
If you were to recommend this experience to a friend, what would you say? Let you hair down, breathe and enjoy who and what you really are.

How did you feel about your body prior to the shoot? My body is what it is... when I was younger I had a pretty good bod. I worked out, sucked my tummy in, but never felt good in my skin. It's only now, when I see photos of back then I appreciate how good it was.
What did you enjoy most about the shoot? How liberating it felt! How comfortable I felt with Saffron taking the photos, she really made me feel at ease.
Did the shoot change the way you feel about your body in any way? Not really.
If you were to recommend this experience to a friend, what would you say? Give it a go! There is nothing that compares with standing naked in a beautiful environment... and just saying 'Here I am World! At my best and my worst. This is who I am!'
